WHO?
Who am I? My name is Danny. Danny M. Valdez, to be more thorough (hence the DMV). I consider myself an artist, to some extent. I am rapidly exiting my twenties, and have yet to find any professional niche for the work I enjoy creating. Then again, I have yet to really spend much time carving out that niche on my own. I have, however, been able to continually work in the graphic design field now since finishing college in 2005 (minus a brief half year of complete unproductivity to start), and that, to some degree, is at least a mild success story. It may not be perfect, but it allows for some sort of creativity.

Who are you? If you're on my website, I'm going to assume you are either family, or a friend of mine. If you are a complete stranger and somehow stumbled upon my work, I thank you for being interested enough to stick around and read this garbage.
WHAT?
What am I? Homo Sapien; a bipedal primate in Hominidae, the great ape family. Male. Not married.

What is this? This is my portfolio. It consists of pretty much every finished piece of illustration/comic work that I've done in the last ten years. I have left some out, that, quite frankly, I don't think are all that good. But for the most part, everything is here.
WHERE?
Where am I? Right now I am in Riverside, California. Well, I can't guarantee that as you read this, I am actually physically there. But I do currently call it home, as does my employer.

Where are you? If you are reading this, most likely you are in front of a computer. You could be on a phone, but I have a feeling my site won't work all that well from a mobile browser. If you want something a bit more specific, I'm not too sure I can help. Do you see any street signs or anything around you that could give you some clues? The best I can really tell you right now is 'Planet Earth,' and in reality, that isn't really a guarantee, since I know for a fact that this site has been viewed from the International Space Station. (I completely made that last part up.)
WHEN?
When? When what? I'm not so sure this question really applies. When did I make all of this art? It dates back to 1995, but nearly all of it is post-2000. And in all honesty, I have become quite unproductive since graduating school (where many times an assignment was some kind of art that could be posted here). Apparently staring at a computer for 40 hours a week isn't the most conducive environment to inspire me to keep working on the computer through all of my free time. Imagine how bad it would be if I had some sort of social life as well.
WHY?
Why is this site here? Nearly a decade ago when I started my online portfolio, it seemed kind of unique to be able to carve out your own space on the world wide web. That was before the advent of Myspace, Facebook, and Blogs the way we know them now, flooding the internet with inane nonsense by anybody who can hit an 'Enter' key. I still like to keep this up to date, though, even if just as some sort of easily accessible archive for myself. And who knows – maybe someday it could lead to some sort of professional work?

Why are you still reading this? I haven't the slightest idea.

Why are we here? I have even less of a guess on that one...
