Is having a great day. The department is fairly busy, but he's been able to get
rid of most of the customers who he can tell won't buy any accessories. They
are the ones that waste everybody's time. When he has to go through the
trouble to sell an entire PC to someone who won't buy anything extra, it
just makes the people who will buy accessories wait, and that is just wrong.
So David has a kind of sixth sense of telling who to actually spend time on,
and he only deals with those customers. The other ones just wait until they get
fed up and leave. And today it seems to be working. Sales Manager Geoff
just came by with some accessory numbers, and the department is at a
15.73%, which is fairly good. Their goal is a 15%, so as long as they keep
turning away those pointless customers, they will do it just fine.
