Has only been with the department for two weeks now. He doesn't mind
showing people where simple things are, like the girl who just asked where
A Walk to Remember is. But the training here is pathetic, and whenever
somebody wants to know something that would require looking things up on
the computer, he just has to hand them off to Josh or Sonia because he
was never told how to look stuff up. Plus, right now Joseph, the Supervisor,
doesn't want people looking up things anyway. It supposedly takes too much
time out of the sales they could be doing. It seems pretty mean to Mike to say
"if you don't see it, we don't have it," but that is what he is supposed to do. He
can already tell that he doesn't like this place, and he doesn't want to stay here
long after the holiday season. Plus, he's really sick of these early 6:00 am shifts!
